Mr. Matthew David Wolf
M.Ed. in Curriculum Development and Design | Secondary Credential
Hi, my name is Matthew Wolf. I'm outgoing by nature, I love to travel, to be active including hiking, climbing, and running. When it comes to learning, I consider myself a student for life with an addiction to growing, changing, and constant self-discovery.
But before all that, I grew up with a love of stories.
My Writing & Education
Rich tales that inspired and transported me to another world. They were coming of age stories (mostly fantasy), full of honor and truth, that showcased the indomitable nature of the human spirit, and of course, had a few dragons. As I grew older, I went to school for literature and began to write. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with an English degree and a Specialization in Medieval Studies. All the while, dragons and stories swirled in my head and my ramblings took the slow material form of a novel... A big one. Then in 2015, The Knife's Edge, book one of The Ronin Saga, an epic fantasy series was published.

In the following two years I published the next two installments Citadel of Fire, and Bastion of Sun. Since then I've been lucky enough to watch the books reach the top 5 on Amazon; travel the world selling and signings books to hundreds of thousands of fans at conventions, bookstores, and libraries. However, now, I feel I've been called to teach, to create some structure and foundations in my community. The love of books hasn't dwindled, but I want nothing more than to share my passion for great literature and show how it can transform lives.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness... Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”
